Your first class is special (what you need to know)
"
You've got a class booked. Here's exactly what your first visit to ATC looks like — so you walk in already knowing the room.
What to wear and bring
- Comfortable activewear and athletic shoes — whatever you'd wear for a workout or a long walk. Nothing special.
- A water bottle and a small towel. You'll want both.
- Yourself, 15 minutes early. That buffer is when we show you around and answer anything you're wondering about.
When you walk in
- Park anywhere out front.
- Come in the front door — you don't have to know a soul.
- Tell whoever's at the desk you're new. They've been waiting for you.
- Bringing a kid? Kidsclub (our childcare) is free for your first class — drop them off on your way in.
What the class actually looks like
Every single class has two coaches on the floor — so you get real attention, real form corrections, and someone watching out for you the whole time. The flow:
- Your coach finds you before class starts. You're never left guessing what to do.
- A full walkthrough of the workout, the movements, and the modifications — before you begin.
- A guided warm-up to prep your body for the session.
- A 40-minute workout — our Cardio Integrated Strength Training: real lifting with conditioning woven in, scaled to exactly where you are, whether that's day one or year ten.
Door to door — hellos, the workout, and the chat afterward — you're looking at about 75 minutes.
The one thing to remember
You will not be lost in the back of the room, and you will not get put on the hardest version of anything. The whole format is built so a brand-new member and a ten-year veteran can train side by side in the same class. Come exactly as you are.
Your move
Arrive 15 minutes early to your booked class. Walk in, tell us you're new, and let the coaches take it from there. That's the whole job.
