RX vs Scaled: Which One Are You?

1 min read
"

RX is not the goal. The right stimulus is the goal. Here's how to pick the version of the workout that's going to make you better — not just look hard.

What RX actually means: the prescribed weight and movement. That's it. It's not a tier ranking.

Why scaled is not a participation trophy: it's a tool. Even our advanced members scale.

The 3 questions to ask before each workout:

  1. Can I hit the time domain?
  2. Can I keep form?
  3. Will I want to come back tomorrow?

If the answer to any of those is no — scale (use the MOD board, Lesson 2.4).

How to tell your coach you want to scale: just tell them. They will respect it more, not less.

Tomorrow's class — tell your coach what version you're doing before the clock starts.
